WELCOME TO ST. MARY'S
COLLEGE
St. Mary’s College is a progression of St. Mary’s
Cambridge School Murree Road and St. Mary’s Academy Lalazar,
pioneers of ‘A and ‘O Level Education in the region.
St. Mary’s College is
altruistic and inclusive in character. We emphasise professional and
vocational education reflecting the applied aspect of knowledge. We
aspire to cater of the professional educational development of a
broad spectrum of aspirants in the sphere of business,
administration, finance, logistics, engineering, man machine
interfaces and allied areas of executive and vocational grooming.
Within the foreseeable future, the curricula will expand both
laterally and vertically to include other areas of professional and
vocational instruction. We intend becoming a full fledged
independent degree awarding institute in due course.
We emphasis professional and vocational education reflecting
the applied

administration, finance, logistics, engineering, man
machine,
interfaces and allied areas of executive and vocational
grooming.
The college as an
institute of higher learning was established by the Bishop
of
Rawalpindi Diocesan Council in May 2006.
Its was inaugurated by The Ambassador of Vatican to Pakistan
in 2006. It was initially named Ave Maria College of
Professional and Applied Science and later changed to St.
Mary's College.
His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI through his special message in
February
2007
blessed the college and also issued a
certificate. Later, he offered a
special Holy
Rosary
Prayer with the students of the college through an
exclusive
satellite link
with Vatican.

Campus
The present campus land comprising 53 acres was
purchased
through the Government of West Pakistan in 1959-60
, for utilisation as an all purpose education hub. The campus
is located
at the heart of Lalazar Rawalpindi at the triangle of Tulsa Road,
Adiala Road and Mazhar Qayum Road. The premises have sufficient
real estate for future expansion.....
